DueDate

Privacy policy

v2 · 15 Sep 2026

DRAFT — replace before launch. # DueDate Privacy Policy (v2, DRAFT) DueDate stores: your email address, your institution and courses, the outlines you upload, your planner notes and personal events, and — only if you opt in to reminders — a WhatsApp number with your consent record. **What is shared, and what is not.** When you upload a course outline, what our AI extracts from it — the weekly classes, the dated deadlines and the assessment weights — is pooled with other students at your institution so that nobody has to wait for, or pay for, the same outline to be processed twice. That pooled record carries nothing about you: not your name, your email, your student number, the file's name, or the file itself. Your notes, ticked-off deadlines, colours, stream choices and calendar are yours alone and are never shown to anyone else. **Deleting your account** removes everything of yours — profile, courses, outlines, notes, uploads and reminders. The one thing that stays is the anonymous pooled record of any outline you uploaded, which keeps no link to you. You can export everything you own, or delete your account, from Settings.
